John Emerson began as a Background Tracer at Disney Studio in 1955. He learned the many techniques that are all part of Background and Production Design. He has credits ranging from Assistant Set decorator and Cinematographer to Background Painter, Airbrush and Production Designer. He even created the Atlantean Alphabet for Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
