Eve Fletcher has had a long and illustrious career at Disney Studio. She began in 1946 in the Ink and Paint Department. Eve was a supervisor on the feature films Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, and she continued working as an animator at Disney's right up through the production of The Little Mermaid. But what I find interesting about Eve is what she did when she wasn't at Disney's. At the age of 30 she took up surfing and is part of a small group of people who have surfed the beaches of California for over four decades. She shares this unique history with Peter Cole, twin brother of another Golden Award recipient, Corny Cole and also my cousin Ed Stevens, who goes by the name of Yogi Surf Dude.
