Carmen SandersonCarmen Sanderson began her career at Disney as a Cel Painter on Song of the South. By the end of the movie she was an Inker and rose to an Assistant Supervisor until she retrained in Xerography in the mid 60s. She became a Supervising Xerox Checker until Computer Ink and Paint arrived at the studio. She retrained again and received her first computer Ink and Paint credit on Oliver and Company. She worked on The Lion King and all the way to Home on the Range. Carmen retired in 2001 after a 56 year career. She is interviewed in the documentary film Dream On, Silly Dreamer, a film about the entire era of Disney Studio's traditional animation history.
