Roger Armstrong

1992 TAG Golden Award winner ROGER ARMSTRONG died on June 7 at the age of eighty-eight. He worked intermittently in animation but enjoyed his greatest success and fame as a comic-strip and comic-book artist for Disney, Western Publishing, Dell and Gold Key.

His several strips included the Disney Scamp strip that he drew from 1978 to 1988. For Western, at one time or another he drew most of the Disney comic-book titles; he also did all the Warners comics but often specialized in Elmer Fudd and Porky Pig.
