Painter PHYLLIS BARNHART died on February 6 at the age of eighty-four. Starting at Disney in the 1940s, she worked for Filmation, DePatie-Freleng, Bandolier Films, Hanna-Barbera and Don Bluth.

She had been married to artist Dale Barnhart who died in 1996. She is survived by her sons, Rhio, Roberleigh and Philo and daughter Fontini.
