BARRY BLITZER, who worked for Hanna-Barbera from 1962 to 1992 and also had a long career writing for live-action TV sitcoms, died on January 27 at the age of eighty-one.
For H-B he wrote for The Jetsons and The Flintstones, and was a story editor on Fonz and the Happy Days Gang and Laverne and Shirley in the Army. His live-action script credits included The Phil Silvers Show, The Ann Sothern Show, McHale’s Navy, The Andy Griffith Show, Gomer Pyle USMC and The Love Boat.
