Brant Parker

BRANT PARKER, former Disney artist and co-creator of the Wizard of Id comic strip, passed away on April 14 at the age of eighty-six. Parker worked for Disney after graduating from Otis Art Institute until joining the Navy in 1942, and again from 1945 to 1947. He worked on Mickey and the Beanstalk and several Donald Duck shorts.

Parker died six days after the death of JOHNNY HART, his original collaborator on Wizard Of Id, who was best known for the B. C. comic strip.
