1987 Golden Award winner EVELYN SHERWOOD died on August 27, 2000 at the age of eighty-six. From 1935 until her retirement in 1981, she worked as an animation checker for Disney, UPA, Snowball, Format, Ray Patin, Sutherland and Hanna-Barbera.
